While I was enjoying the sleepy mode ( thanks to the non-stop rain since early morning) , I got this SMS

Sender : HOTLINK
Message : BARU! Lakukan Magis dgn Self-Destruct SMS! SMS anda akan hilang sebaik shj penerima sms membacanya. Cuba skrg! Taip GET & hntrkan ke 22589. Info - www.maxis.com.my
Ok, now that is scary! There are few inductions that can be made from that SMS from my favourite communications provider
- They follow the SMS ‘lingo’ of shortforms, as if want to safe the cost by sending one SMS per client. And all the while, I thought I was alone ^_^
- Their website is not updated with the given information (search here.. I’m done through it) UPDATE : FOUND HERE by a commentator
- Imagine this scenario ; Beep Beep! ( 1 Message Received) , you pick up your phone, clicking the “read” button, aargh, its from a long time friend who used to have a grudge against you. So you open up… KABOOOM !!!!

Hahaha, no that is NOT what it was all about. Looks like the “This message will self-destruct in 10second” dialogue from MI movies are coming to reality. The message will actually be deleted, that is, your mobile phone can’t save it. So much for the RM1k + phones heh :p But imagine this, dear cheating spouses, couples, celebrities and ESPECIALLY to our beloved POLITICIANS, you have your Messiah here! Imagine your SMSes being tapped by the media, HANCUR! Your wife knows that your phone can’t lie, but she has to re-think of new strategy now. This new baby will eventually be the saviour of many marriages, …the looming ones. It can even save PDRM from being caught of doing striptease-style body search! The nation really needs this, thank you ^_^
Digg IT ! The technology is a UK-based company, Staellium , which produced what is known as Stealth Text.
” StealthText allows you to send a text message safely in the knowledge that it will delete itself from the recipient’s mobile phone as soon as the person has read it - ultimately, allowing the sender control of their own information.”
BEST SIAALLLL ! Who tried it? Send me a message
would love to be ‘kaboomed’ once.
UPDATED : Arrgh! I have people actually asking if its true or hoax. The service is TRUE, it works as MAXIS said it. Sekian
